pastoral associate

Brittany Monson-Moffatt began her vocational life as an educator with Minneapolis Public Schools, serving in the Uptown neighborhood from 2008 to 2017. Brittany began to discern a call to pastoral ministry through Clinical Pastoral Education at Indiana University Health in early 2020. She continued to serve there for two years as a resource chaplain while beginning graduate coursework at Chicago Theological Seminary. Presently, she is completing her Master of Divinity at Luther Seminary while working toward ordination within the ELCA. Brittany’s ministry is grounded in the belief that God’s love is revealed in Christ, calling us into being and belonging. She is especially drawn to ministries of spiritual care, walking alongside individuals and communities through life’s transitions. She resides in South Minneapolis with her spouse and three children and in her free time she enjoys gardening and knitting.
